1、 What is amino silicone oil
Amino silicone oil is a type of polydimethylsiloxane with side chains or end groups containing amino groups, forming a polymer structure with Si-O-Si as the main chain. It has excellent properties such as softness, hydrophobicity, defoaming, lubricity, and gloss. Since its emergence in the 1990s, it has become an indispensable organic silicon material in the textile industry. The main use of it is as a softener for various fibers, yarns, and fabrics, known as the "king of softeners".

3、 Advantages and characteristics of amino silicone oil

4、 The preparation methods of amino silicone oil with different structures include:
(1) Catalytic equilibrium between aminoalkylsilane and siloxane;
(2) Catalytic equilibrium between oxygen-containing oligomers obtained by hydrolysis of aminoalkylsilane and D4;
(3) Catalytic equilibrium between diaminopropyl tetramethyldisiloxane and D4;
(4) Addition of hydrogen containing polysiloxane with unsaturated ammonia;
(5) Anionic activity, condensation method for single ended amino silicone oil;
(6) Lotion polymerization of amino polyorganosiloxane water lotion.
In practical applications, especially as a silicone softener, the most commonly used is modified silicone oil containing diamines.
The preparation method is as follows:
Hydrolysis of supporting oligomers: Firstly, hydrolyze the aminoalkylmethyldimethoxysilane to generate supporting oligomers.
Equilibrium reaction: The above-mentioned oligomers are then subjected to equilibrium reaction with dimethylsiloxane ring and hexamethyldisiloxane under the action of alkaline catalyst, ultimately obtaining diamino modified silicone oil.
This prepared amino silicone oil has been widely used in the field of textile softeners due to its softness, smoothness, and excellent washability. By adjusting the reaction conditions and raw material ratios, amino silicone oil products with different properties can be customized to meet the softening treatment needs of different textiles.
