Aerogel nano thermal insulation foam is a new type of nano thermal insulation material, which helps the electronics industry, new energy batteries, automotive industry, shipbuilding and military industry and other industries to solve the needs of thermal insulation and fire prevention, cushioning and shock absorption, sound insulation and noise reduction, lightweight, etc. It can be compounded with graphite sheet, copper foil, aluminum foil and other thermal conductive and heat dissipating materials, with one side conducting heat and the other side insulating and buffering, to meet the actual needs of customers in a variety of different use scenarios.
Characteristics of aerogel insulation cotton:
*The porosity is very high, up to 99.8%;
*Nano scale pores (20-100nm) and three-dimensional nano skeleton particles (2-5nm);
*High specific surface area, up to 1000m2/g;
*Low density, can be as low as 0.003g/cm3;
*The unique structure of aerogel determines its extremely low thermal conductivity, which can be as low as 0.013W/(m · K) at room temperature;
*Low strength, high brittleness, due to its large specific surface area and porosity, low density, resulting in low strength.
Aerogel insulation cotton Performance:
Application of aerogel insulation cotton:
Aerogels have been widely used due to their characteristics. For example, nano sized pores in aerogels can collect various pollutants like sponges. Bob, a Nottingham native in England, has a house insulated with aerogel, and the heat preservation effect of the house has been greatly improved. Mountaineers wearing hiking boots with air gel thermal insulation insoles only feel the soles of their feet are too hot when climbing Mount Everest. Aerogel can also be used as catalyst carrier, super adiabatic combustion carrier, combustion substance (similar to solid alcohol) that can be used in severe weather conditions, combination with fuel cell technology, and photocatalyst carrier.
Introduction of aerogel insulation cotton material
Nano gel composite thermal insulation material is a kind of inorganic porous thermal insulation material with extremely low thermal conductivity, which is made by using the excellent thermal insulation performance of aerogel and special production process.
1. Unique nanostructure
The porosity of this material is over 90%. Aerogel heat insulation cotton is different from traditional heat insulation materials. Compared with traditional heat insulation materials (glass fiber felt, aluminum silicate cotton), it can reduce the thickness and material by 3 to 8 times while achieving the same heat insulation effect
Properties of aerogel insulation cotton:
1. Superior thermal insulation performance
At room temperature (25 ℃), the thermal conductivity can reach 0.015w/m · k.
2. Good temperature resistance performance
Different series of this material can withstand high temperatures up to 600 ℃ -1000 ℃ respectively, with a low temperature range close to absolute zero.
3. Unique flame resistance and burn through performance
This material can withstand direct flame burning for a long time. In flames far exceeding the upper limit of use temperature, this material will show a trend of thermal insulation performance degradation and sintering phenomenon, but there will be no melting or perforation of general fiber insulation materials or fracture and breakage of porous mineral board insulation materials.
4. Excellent chemical stability
It can withstand most acidic and alkaline environments except hydrofluoric acid and strong alkali for a long time, without decomposition or deterioration. It can also withstand various types of thermal radiation (ultraviolet light, infrared light, visible light) and electromagnetic radiation for a long time without degradation. It has an extremely long service life in conventional use environments and does not require replacement or maintenance.
5. Long term use below 200 ℃ with overall hydrophobicity
6. Low density
The bulk density can be designed as required between 180kg/m3 and 300kg/m3.
7. Good mechanical properties
Tensile mechanical strength>2Mpa (rigid products),>0.12Mpa (flexible products). And it has a certain degree of elasticity, which is not present in conventional high-temperature insulation materials such as sheet metal. This material can be drilled, cut, and riveted without causing significant damage to the body, and can be processed with a paper cutter.
8. Sound insulation and shock absorption
This material is a porous material with excellent elasticity, making it an excellent soundproofing and shock-absorbing material. The sound velocity in this material will decrease to one-third of that in air.
9. Environmentally friendly and non-toxic
The main component of this material is one of the most common minerals in nature - quartz, an inorganic material that does not release any organic matter at high temperatures. This product has passed SGS testing and does not contain asbestos (full range), polybrominated biphenyls (flame retardants), polybrominated diphenyl ethers, lead, cadmium, mercury, or chromium.
Thermal insulation principle of aerogel thermal insulation cotton
Analysis of material insulation principle:
1. Aerogel insulation cotton has the characteristics of high porosity, low thermal conductivity, etc
We have achieved the utmost in terms of heat conduction.
2. The pores of 50-60 nm aerogel make it impossible for air molecules to flow freely, and convection is carried
Heat will be greatly suppressed.
3. One millimeter thick aerogel insulation cotton contains tens of thousands of hole walls, and these hole walls can
Regarded as reflective and refractive surfaces of radiation.
