Aerogel is a known solid material with very low thermal conductivity. Its special structure enables it to have low thermal conductivity, flame retardancy, water repellency, green environmental protection and other superior properties. It is a revolutionary material for the selection of thermal insulation materials for pipelines and equipment, as well as for thermal insulation and energy conservation. Aerogel thermal insulation blanket is a flexible thermal insulation blanket made of nano silica aerogel and special fiber materials by special process.
Product characteristics
1. Better heat insulation: aerogel is the material with the best heat insulation performance at present. The heat insulation performance of aerogel felt is 3-8 times that of traditional heat insulation products (such as rock wool, aluminum silicate, glass wool), and the energy saving rate is higher.
2. Thinner thickness: With the same insulation effect, the insulation thickness is equivalent to 1/5-1/3 of traditional insulation materials.
3. Longer lifespan: The service life is 3-5 times that of traditional insulation materials, reaching over 15 years; The material is lighter and has a lower load on the supporting structure; Due to its good crack resistance and self-cleaning properties, it can avoid cracking and peeling of insulation materials and exterior finishes caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
4. Higher hydrophobicity: The volume hydrophobicity of the material is over 99.6%, ensuring that the material does not mold or settle; At the same time, it allows water vapor to pass through without getting damp or absorbing water to corrode the pipe wall, ensuring long-term effective insulation performance.
5. More corrosion-resistant: Due to its overall hydrophobicity, it will not form water vapor accumulation on the inside, while allowing water vapor to pass through without getting damp, and will not cause corrosion to equipment and pipelines under the insulation layer.
6. More fire-resistant: It contains almost no organic matter and has a fire rating of A2. It can achieve excellent stability and flame retardancy under high temperature testing.
7. More environmentally friendly: using silica as raw material, the content of acid radicals and halogen anions in the material is almost zero, the pH value is neutral, and there are no toxic or harmful substances. Under the same heat preservation effect, the use of aerogel materials is only 1/10 of that of traditional heat preservation materials, which can be disassembled and reused to save heat loss and reduce carbon emissions.
8. More safe: because the aerogel is totally hydrophobic, it will not form water vapor accumulation on the inside, and at the same time, it will allow water vapor to pass through without being affected by moisture, so as to avoid corrosion of equipment and pipes under the insulation layer (CUI). In addition, the aerogel will not yellowing and smoke when used at high temperature, which is safer.
9. Lower maintenance costs: Traditional insulation boards are thick and prone to detachment, resulting in higher maintenance costs. Air gel products are lighter, with longer service life, no need for replacement and rework, and low maintenance costs; Construction is more convenient and saves time; Lightweight, with lower storage and transportation costs.
