Weak supply and demand in the industrial silicon market

On February 8th, a research report from Hongyuan Futures showed that the average price of 421 # (organic silicon) silicon in East China this week was 12150 yuan/ton, with no change compared to before the holiday. In January, industrial silicon production decreased by 8.3% month on month to 304100 tons. It is expected that there may be a decline in production in February due to natural day decreases, and the supply and demand of the industrial silicon market are weak, with silicon prices mainly consolidating at a low level.
