On January 15th, experts organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs evaluated the scientific and technological achievements of the "Silicon Valley Functional Fertilizer Controlling Saline-Alkali Soil Technology" project jointly completed by Hebei Silicon Valley Agricultural Science Research Institute and Hebei Silicon Valley Fertilizer Co., Ltd. The expert group believes that the development of organic silicon functional fertilizer and its product application technology have reached the international advanced level of similar research, and have reached the international advanced level in the improvement technology of saline-alkali land.


Cao Ziku, deputy director of Hebei Silicon Valley Academy of Agricultural Sciences and chief agrochemical expert of Hebei Silicon Valley Fertilizer Co., Ltd. introduced that Bayannaoer Saline-alkali land in Inner Mongolia is a semi-desert saline area. Organic silicon functional fertilizer was used to treat the saline-alkali land for one year. Sunflower The yield per mu has reached 400 kg, which is comparable to that of a good field.


Baicheng and Da'an in Jilin Province belong to the saline area of the Northeast Plain. After planting rice with organic silicon functional fertilizer, the yield per mu of newly cultivated saline-alkali land reached 513.9 kg in the first year, and the yield per mu using organic silicon functional fertilizer reached 628.9 kg for two consecutive years. After one year, it has become a good land, and two years have created high yields.


Cao Ziku introduced that in recent years, the organic silicon functional fertilizer has been promoted in 6.65 million mu of the five major types of saline-alkali regions in the country, and has obtained 3 invention patents, creating an output value benefit of 1.92 billion yuan.


The expert group chaired by Liu Jian, chairman of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Alliance, believes that the organosilicon functional fertilizer formed by organic silicon materials and compound fertilizers has a variety of functions to improve the treatment of saline-alkali soil and supplementary nutrients, and the application technology is simple and easy to implement. The improvement effect was immediate, creating a set of technical system for the improvement and management of saline-alkali land in China, and achieving a breakthrough in controlling saline-alkali soil.


The evaluation opinion pointed out that organic silicon functional fertilizer can promote the formation of soil aggregate structure and accelerate salt leaching; remove soil compaction, increase soil porosity, and slow down the accumulation of deep soil salt to the surface; adjust soil pH to neutral; increase organic matter, promote Microbial propagation, activation of soil nutrients, improvement of salt tolerance of crops, creation of a good growth environment for crop roots, and significant increase in crop yield.
