Recently, in the National "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Contest sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Information and Communications Research Institute, IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group and China Communications Standardization Association, Eken Spark Silicone In cooperation with China Telecom, Huawei, and the Bluestar Zhiyun team, the "5G + Smart Chemical" project has stood out from 3731 entries and won the best recommendation award.


The project will focus on the enterprise's strategic goals of “greening, refinement, intelligence, internationalization and sustainability”, and intensively promote the integration and innovation of 5G, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data and chemical production applications to achieve 5G Breakthroughs in applications in four major areas: safety, environmental protection, quality, and operations.


It is understood that the Eken Spark Silicone "5G + Smart Chemical" project has completed the industry's first "5G + Smart Chemical Joint Innovation Lab", which has attracted enterprises such as China Telecom, Huawei, Bluestar Zhiyun, etc. Quality development develops more new technologies and new applications. The first phase of the project focuses on the application of enterprise safety management. It will start from the three safety elements of people, equipment and environment in chemical companies, to achieve accurate monitoring of personnel positioning and health information, and more equipment such as dashboards, valves, and pipelines. Dimensional inspection and monitoring, as well as real-time monitoring of personnel behavior standards and equipment environment in hazardous areas.


The pilot application shows that the safety management application has achieved periodic results in the pilot area. For example, "5G + precise positioning" improves the positioning accuracy of operators by 300%, "5G + intelligent inspection" increases the preventive maintenance rate by 60%, and "5G + machine vision" reduces staff violations by 78%, greatly reducing corporate risk every year. Will bring nearly 300 million yuan of potential benefits to enterprises. In the next step, the “5G + Smart Chemical” project will be extended in terms of quality, environmental protection and operation.
