Post-treatment silicone oil for textiles is a core auxiliary agent for upgrading fabric quality. Pure cotton and synthetic fiber fabrics without silicone oil treatment have a rough texture. Outdoor windbreakers and tent fabrics use hydrophobic silicone oil for waterproof treatment. Without blocking the fabric's ventilation pores, a hydrophobic layer is formed, allowing rain to condense and roll off, achieving both ventilation and waterproofing effects. In the dyeing process, defoaming silicone oil quickly eliminates the foam in the dye solution, preventing the fabric from developing color spots or stains, and improving the yield of high-quality dyed products.
Hydrophilic modified silicone oil is specifically used for close-fitting baby clothing, balancing softness and easy washing. It solves the problem of traditional hydrophobic silicone clothing being difficult to rinse. Domestic textile factories are gradually phasing out old high-aldehyde auxiliaries, and environmentally friendly and non-yellowing silicone oil has become the mainstream for procurement.
