High thermal conductivity modified silicone oil has been newly launched. It is specially designed for large-scale energy storage stations and household energy storage battery temperature control systems, addressing the problem of heat accumulation during long-term operation of energy storage equipment.
Traditional thermal conductive materials have a relatively low thermal conductivity. During continuous charging and discharging of large-scale energy storage cabinets, a large amount of heat is generated, and local high temperatures can shorten the battery lifespan and even pose safety risks. This thermal conductive silicone oil is added with nano thermal conductive fillers, with a thermal conductivity much higher than that of ordinary phenyl silicone oil. It also has the characteristic of flexible adhesion, and can closely fit the gaps between battery cells and heat dissipation aluminum sheets, quickly conducting internal heat.
The product is waterproof, resistant to aging, and will not carbonize or seep oil even under long-term 200℃ continuous operation. It can prevent the internal moisture of the energy storage equipment from invading and avoid the rusting of metal electrodes. At the same time, it has moderate fluidity, and the automated production line can directly pour it in, without the need for complex solidification processes, significantly improving the assembly efficiency of energy storage factories.
With the large-scale implementation of photovoltaic-powered energy storage and industrial and commercial energy storage projects, the demand for thermal conductive silicone oil for energy storage has rapidly increased. Industry estimates show that the annual demand for energy storage supporting silicone oil in 2026 will increase by 31% compared to the previous year. The energy storage sector has become the core downstream market for high-end thermal conductive silicone oil, and several domestic silicone oil models have passed safety certifications for energy storage enterprises and have been batch deployed on energy storage production lines.
