From factory assembly lines to office equipment maintenance, General Dimethyl Silicone Oil, with its four basic functions of lubrication, demolding, defoaming, and moisture-proof insulation, serves multiple manufacturing fields such as plastic and rubber processing, paper and printing, precision instruments, and office equipment. It is one of the most versatile additives in the manufacturing industry.

In the rubber and plastic processing industry, silicone oil is the mainstream demolding agent. Applying silicone oil to plastic injection molds, rubber vulcanization molds, resin pouring molds, and spray painting, it forms an isolation film, ensuring the complete and undamaged removal of the finished product from the mold without any damage, making the mold less prone to sticking to the material, reducing cleaning time, and enhancing the production line's output capacity. For glass and metal casting processing, silicone oil is also used for demolding without damaging the surface finish of the products.

In paper and printing production, silicone oil is used to eliminate foaming. During pulp cooking, paint mixing, and ink processing, a large amount of foam is produced, causing paper holes and printing color differences. Adding a small amount of silicone oil can stabilize the material liquid system and ensure the continuous operation of the production line; non-drying label release paper is coated with silicone oil to form a non-adhesive layer, leaving no residue when the label is torn off.

In scenarios of precision instruments and office equipment maintenance, silicone oil is widely used. Laboratory glass instruments use silicone oil as a heat-conducting medium in oil baths, with wide temperature stability and no volatile pollution; printers, copiers, gears, and sliding rails are lubricated with silicone oil to eliminate jamming and abnormal sounds, extending the equipment's service life; laboratory balances and measuring instruments are filled with damping silicone oil to buffer vibrations and ensure accurate measurement data.

In the mechanical processing field, high-temperature bearings and small gears use silicone oil for long-term lubrication, which is resistant to oxidation and does not dry out; hardware workpieces are sprayed with silicone oil for moisture-proof and rust-proof purposes, and they are not prone to rust even after storage for many years; industrial silicone oil is used in sewage treatment and coating chemical production lines to continuously suppress foam, reducing foam overflow and raw material waste.

Currently, the market competition for general silicone oil is intense. Domestic basic silicone oil has obvious cost-performance advantages. Downstream manufacturing enterprises are gradually eliminating high-volatile mineral oils and choosing low-odor and environmentally friendly silicone oil as the preferred purchase option. The annual market demand for general silicone oil remains steadily growing.
