Preparatory work
1. Put the materials used in the experiment, such as silicone oil, emulsifier, etc., into the vessel for mixing according to a certain amount, and weigh a certain amount of water in advance.
2. Place the utensils on the automatic stirrer and fix each position to prevent problems in the mixing process.
Start of experiment:
1. Turn on the automatic stirrer, add the weighed water into the vessel with a pipette, keep the speed very slow, with a frequency of a few drops of water for 1min, and observe the situation of the reactants in the vessel;
2. With the dropping of water, the reactants in the vessel will become viscous until the paste is formed. When the paste is formed, the blue color of the paste in the vessel indicates that the experiment is very successful, and the frequency of water adding will slow down again;
3. After mixing evenly, the paste will become a fluid like reactant, at this time, the dripping frequency can be accelerated, but not too fast, until the quantitative water is added, and the emulsification can be completed after mixing for a period of time.
